Netscape DevEdge has joined Wired.com as the second major corporate website to make a full committment to standards-compliant design.

This is Evangelism, in my opinion, for the following reason: A "critical mass" will be acheived if enough corporate websites follow this example. Other corporations will regard one corporate site redesign (wired.com) as an experiment. Two such happenings (wired+DevEdge) will be seen as a noteworthy occurance. Three to six becomes a trend, 7-14 a buzz, then a movement, and ultimately an establishment.
Maybe saying this is putting the cart before the horse, but as the leader in standards support among popular browsers, Mozilla/Gecko will benefit immensly from such a development. Spread the word!
