why do i get "catastrophic failure" error?

am making a gecko engine based app that clicks buttons and takes images of the screens. I have these difficulties
that I hope the Mozilla developers can help with:

1) I often get “catastrophic failure” during use of the program. See below:
Only solution so far is to restart computer (restarting app seems not to be enough to solve the issue - only restarting computer seems to solve the issue temporarily
