The official way is that you report a bug (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/) and attach your patch to your bug report.

Once you've filed a bug and attached your patch, put a link to the bug here.
Also give me a poke and I'll help get your patch accepted (if possible).

They won't release a new version just to integrate your patch, but if your change is accepted it could be part of the next planned release.

Hello,

Yes , I understand M-Reimer.
How can I get confirmation They have accepted my patch?
Or,
I also need to put this new patch in the Thunderbird Repository as a developer? If Yes so What is actual procedure??

Create a bug, describing the problem, you want to fix with your patch, here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

Then attach your patch to this bug.

If you are done with this, then you may post the bug number in this thread. Philip already offered to help you with finding the right person to review your patch. Maybe he can even give you first feedback so you can fix first problems with your patch.

Anything is done on the Bugzilla platform. Only very few developers are allowed to commit directly to the Thunderbird repository.

English is OK. All comments in Mozilla code are in English.

Just create your bug report (in English language), post the Bug-ID and then let's move over the whole discussion to Bugzilla.
