Help need to test fix to bug 197671

Post by IanN »

I've being working on the back end fix to this bug and I have done a certain amount of testing but I think I'm now at a point for some other people to give a good hammering. ;-)
If you need a pref UI to help with testing then look at patch 1.0a on bug 201177 which gives you one for the new tab behaviour. I'm currently working on providing a pref UI for all of the new pref options.

To apply these patches you need to have downloaded the sun JDK which lets you update files within a jar file.

i believe patch maker unjars the files and edits installed-chrome.txt to open the chrome from the normal unjar-ed folders instead of opening chromes from the jars.
