I'm running Thunderbird on Windows 10 Pro x64. No problems with the program in use, but I noticed today that since Thunderbird updated itself from 38.2 to 38.3, both versions appear in Control Panel / Programs and Features. See screen shot from the Control Panel window. If I uninstall either entry from Control Panel, that completely removes Tbird from the machine. If I reinstall 38.2 and let it update to 38.3, the two entries come back in the list. If I search the entire hard drive for thunderbird.exe, there is only one instance of it, in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird, and it is v38.3.

Re: Tbird appears twice in Win10 Programs & Features
I've seen the same behavior. I assume the installer isn't configured quite right.
