Can't create Hightail account

Post by laceymike »

I'm not sure this is the place for a Hightail question. I'm sure I'll find out, though.

The Thunderbird 'system' suggested I create an account and use Hightail for large files/photos/... I filled in the blanks with name, email and password but nothing happened when I clicked on the submit button. I played with the password box, making 20 character lengths of alphanumeric and symbols but it still wouldn't create the account.

Can someone please direct me to the appropriate site to ask about this? Thanks a million!

Did you try with a shorter password, perhaps 10 or 12 characters?

Bug 1080587 - Freeze current set of Hightail users

Code: Select all

Hightail has expressed a desire to stop recruiting users through Filelink. Their contract allows them to do that with 3 months notice. Business arrangements still seem to be underway, but until further notice, I believe we want to do the following:

1) Remove Hightail from the list of Filelink providers offered for users to set up
2) Remove the ability for users of the Hightail free account to upgrade to the paid account.
