Hi,
To help a friends password-management I'm trying to set up LastPass for him. It works well with the Firefox but I can't get it to protect the Thunderbird account - which is the most important aspect of online security because that's where reset requests go.
The LastPass Windows app tool is meant to deal with this. But I've failed to get this working with TB.
Does anyone use LastPass with Thunderbird?
Tom
Is it possible to use LastPass with Thunderbird?

Hi Dan,
That was my post. But although LastPass claim that it works with Thunderbird I can't get it to work myself so I was hoping to get confirmation from a MozillaZine user.

Keypass is a free password manager that you used to be able to use with Thunderbird if you installed an add-on that added a account id to the title of popup window asking for the password. That was needed to let Keypass recognize what account it was for. Lastpass might have similar problems.
Unfortunately the only add-ons that do that that I'm aware need to be rewritten to use the WebExtensions API in order to work with Thunderbird 68 and later.
