Can thunderbird email system be synced on two computers and a laptop ( apple macs), so we can all see and have the same folders, and when one person moves an email into a particular folder it does it automatically on the other two ??

That would depend on the email provider. If they offer access to that account as an IMAP type account what you describe would be possible.
