I made a link to a website in a Thunderbird email.
I'd like to be able to copy this or Forward it to many people.
But when I do this, the link stops working.
Is there any way to copy, forward or repeat the email including the website link?
Thanks

How did you add the link to the outgoing email?

Thanks
Insert a Link in a Message in Mozilla Thunderbird
To insert a link in an email in Mozilla Thunderbird or Netscape:
•Hit Ctrl-L (Windows, Linux) or Command-L (Mac).
•Enter the text you want to be linked (like "Kantian ethics" if you're linking to a paper on Kantian ethics) under Link Text.
•Press Tab.
•Enter the URL under Link Location.•It's easiest to open the page in a browser window or tab, copy the URL from the address bar and paste it here.
•Click OK.
Alternatively, you can also highlight existing text in your message and only then use the Ctrl-L shortcut key. Then you merely have to enter the URL under Link Location.

OK, so you know the procedure. But what is happening when you try to forward a message you have already sent with the link included?

Hi
I'm sorry -mistake.
It doesn't look like the link's live when you write email but when you send it - it is

Ah, that's intentional to make it easier to edit the link entry in the composition window, but it can confuse new users or those who don't often attach links in that way.
