All,
I configured thunderbird and I can see all my gmails.
How do I take local backup of my 'all gmail' now to external hard ? That is my primary purpose in case I loose gmail account for some reason I have all gmails with attachments.

How did you set up that Gmail account in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP?
