recover folders from account deleted on mail server

Hi,

I have my structure on TB of my previous account.
My account has been deleted from the mail server - it does not exist anymore - my only backup is the local structure of files and folders.

All my account are copied locally and are IMAP.

I tried the following:
Importexport tool - it did not work for me, as I understand it does not work with IMAP accounts.
I tried copy folders, some of them have been copied and some not.
Some times my TB crashes too, during the copy.

I tried to manually copy the folders, it works partially, in a way that I open TB I see my mails in the folders and then as the account synchronise they disappear...

I found only help on deleted account for existing account on the mail server, or maybe I miss understand the process to recover.

I would really appreciate to have my mails back as I though that copying/backuping my profile and folder structure was enough as a backup.
