After I deleted Thunderbird, Gmail still has this folder and I don't know how to get rid of it.

Please clarify your question. Where are you seeing that folder if you deleted Thunderbird from your system? Or did you mean that you deleted the folder from Thunderbird?

This might help:

Open Gmail. You can't edit labels from the Gmail app.
On the left side of the page, hover your cursor over your label's name. (for you this is [IMAP]/Trash)
Click the Down arrow Image.
Click Remove label.

Rather than removing the label, think about hiding it from Thunderbird instead so that you can still use the label if you ever use webmail. You can tell the IMAP server to hide certain folders/labels such as Trash from a email client by unchecking "Show in IMAP" in the Labels tab in Gmail webmail settings. I've done that. It works fine with Thunderbird, especially if you chose in "when I delete a message" not to use "move it to trash". Some other email clients such as MailBird and "em client" refuse to work if you hide the Trash label.
