More and Less Secure sign ins
Yahoo mail now requires email programs to use "more secure sign in". It has an option to allow the use of a "less secure sign in" but it constantly nags you about using it. Why does it consider Thunderbird of having a less secure sign in? It also considers Outlook of having a less secure sign in.

Re: More and Less Secure sign ins
I don't see the nagging since I rarely login to yahoo webmail. My impression is that Yahoo is trying to pass the buck (after over a billion accounts were hacked in the largest data breach in history) and promote Yahoo's software (their app and webmail) rather than a email client.
