Solved: Lost Master Password

I've lost/forgotten my Thunderbird Master Password.

The repair seems to involve Tools>Error Console.

Ths insructions I found say

Thunderbird >> Tools >> Error Console

Paste in Code:

There is no such option in my Thunderbird 52.1.0. So what to I do?

Yes, the article omitted one menu step. It has been corrected to read "Tools->Developer Tools->Error Console".

This worked the last time I tried it, but I don't k now now how to fill in the "Error Console" box to make it work.
