New to Thunderbird question I can't answer.
I am new to Thunderbird and really like it. I used an old POP client before Thunderbird. Is there a way to move/copy an IMAP email to a local folder and have it deleted from your IMAP server at the same time? Thanks, Rick

That can be done but it raises the risk of losing messages. The safe way to accomplish that is to create a sub-folder of Local Folders with the same name as the IMAP folder, copy the messages from the IMAP folder to the sub-folder and then delete the IMAP folder.
