"Save File to" add-on for Thunderbird
Is there a "Save File to" add-on for Thunderbird as it is for Firefox? This is an extension that allows, among other things, to save files downloaded in folders on the computer , at the user's choice.

Moving to Thunderbird Support.
No extension required. Right clicking on a file attached to a message received in Thunderbird offers the option to open the message or to save it. Choosing the Save option causes the operating system's file manager dialogue to be displayed at which point the directory to which the file is to be saved can be chosen.
