userChrome mostly not working on Mac TB 52

I'm trying to change the look of Lightning for years now (not a pro, trying every now and then, quickly getting lost and not finding much relevant information)
using the knowledgebase, this dark theme https://userstyles.org/styles/112357/th ... tning-dark and hints on YouTube, but almost nothing works, several links are dead, like

I've tried the now dead (as of TB52) "Stylish" extension before, with little or no effect.
The only instance which shows effect is

Hooray, at least I've found the correct profile folder!
All the other tags don't change anything, as if overwritten or having misspellings.
Does the whole world agree with the look of lightning??? really?
Where can I look up the relevant css tags of TB & Lightning?
I am on Mac, if that makes a difference.
