I've been trying to move the Outlook users from several customers to Thunderbird. One issue that continually comes up is signatures. I know that one can create a signature in an email using the highlight-insert-HTML method but this seems to be a little too complicated for most users. Ideally they could have the same email editing interface for editing the signature in account settings. Is there an addon that does this? Any plans to do this as part of the core program?

That's what I meant when I mentioned the highlight-insert-HTML method. Regular users get confused quickly once they start to see html code. They want to be able to easily change colors, size, etc., just like when they're entering a email message.
