Hotmail contacts to Thunderbird

I've searched the forum but no results fit.
How do I harvest the contacts in ".csv" or ".vcf" form, from web based Hotmail, accessed through a web browser (Firefox).
There is NO email client installed on this computer except for "x64 Thunderbird Daily v62.0a1".
Have also searched Google, but all scenarios involve accessing Hotmail through some previous email client, such as outdated OE, or MS Office Outlook, and are ~4yrs and older (outdated).
I can't be the only person that has tried to use Thunderbird as a Hotmail email client, so I'm surprised this has not been addressed and a working solution found.

The working solution has to start on the Hotmail side because your Hotmail contacts are not stored on the local computer. That means they must be exported to a CSV file and saved to the local computer in order for Thunderbird to access them for import.

Had there been a working email client, such as MS Outlook been installed on this machine, the harvest of the contacts would have been easy.
But being web based, makes things a little different.
I've done countless searches over the last 5-6 days and came up with, nothing.
It really is a simple process, once you know what to do, but it certainly is hard to find that information.
