Hi.

I use the home screen for local news agency's 'breaking news' page. Nice to have it on home screen - easy to jump from emails to check quickly if my house is on fire or something without leaving thunderbird or going to rss.

The only problem I have I'd prefer also menu button to get back to home screen instead of Alt+Home keys. Can't see one in the "drag buttons collection" Am I blind or something.

Most button add-ons don't support every possible shortcut, they tend to focus on whats available in the menus.

Try the toolbar buttons add-on at https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/th ... ns/?src=ss - it lets you create custom buttons.
