how to change from bottom to top

just got a new computer and my emails are coming in from the bottom instead of top. how can I reverse them

Click on the date column in the folder listing to reverse the sort order. Or use "view -> sort by" to specify descending order.

You can move your old profile to a new PC if you want, and avoid having to re-configure everything. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Move_to_a_new_PC if you want to do that. You'd normally install Thunderbird on the new PC and exit when it automatically runs the new account wizard, and then restore or move the old profile you want to use.
