Spelling
How do I get the spell check in mail, and why after I write mail go to send a window comes up about spellinm nothing in it, can I get rid of that? thanks

What version of Thunderbird?
In the Compose window under the Options menu, is "Spellcheck as you type" selected?

How do you put screen shots on here,
my version is 68.8.1 32bit,
in the Compose window under Options there is faint tick in 'Spellcheck as you type'
but it does not.

Just be sure to remove any/all personal info. & reduce it/them to around 600 x 500 or so.

Using "postimages.org",
0/. Upload your image.
1/. Select > from the "Do not resize" drop down, 640 x 480.
2/. No expiration. (Leave as default or as you require.
3/. Choose > Images to upload.
3a/. After the image/s have been uploaded.
4/. Select > Hot Link for Forum.
5/. Paste that link in your forum thread.

sorry not into all this image hosting thing, how do you set the spell check?? as I said there is a faint tick in Spellcheck as you type, but it does not work,

Using the same menu path as above (Tools->Options->Composition-Spelling) see if "Check spelling before sending" is checked.
What language is identified in that Spelling dialogue?

Ive got a tick in both, check spelling and enable spell check and English

Try unchecking the "Check spelling before sending".

Think it is working alright now, perhaps it was to do with the 'tick' thanks
