Can Thunderbird receieve and send multiple gmail accounts

You do not necessarily have to delete all passwords each time. You can remove just one password if that is all that Gmail is forcing you to change.

We are doing "Get All New Messages" every morning at one station.
We watched and saw a small pop up window notice of messages received. If no message then no pop up windows.
It would be great is we can save this notice summery of all the account message summary including acounts with no messages.

Those are only temporary alerts and are not intended as a permanent report of activity, nor am I aware of any add-ons to provide such information. On the other hand, if Thunderbird is set to display the folder list in a pane on the left of the main window and if "Folder Pane Columns" are selected for viewing in that left pane, the number of unread messages in each folder will be visible. The total number of messages in the folder can also be displayed if desired.

Menu path View->Layout->check "Folder Pane" and check "Folder pane columns".

Are you talking about this top right corner, 3 horizontal bar > Tools > Activity Manager ? We are now trying to save this screen.

No, that is not the correct location.
Hold down the Alt key and press the letter V to display the view menu.
The second option in the displayed drop down should be "Layout".
The fourth entry on that flyout menu should be "Folder Pane" and the fifth entry should be "Folder Pane Columns". Both of those options should have check marks shown.

We are in wits end. We are unable to find how to fix it.
We have several gmail accounts, all works ok, except one. This gmail account in Thunderbird can send out email fine. But do not receive incoming email. We check this gmail account in Chrome browser and the incoming emails are there in the inbox.
We compare the account settings between other gmail accounts and do not see any differences.
Can you please tell us how to find the problems to correct it?

What error message are you receiving in Thunderbird when you try to get new messages in that account?

Try right clicking on the gmail inbox folder in the folder pane, selecting properties and pressing the repair folder button. That should fix any problems in the folder listing (if they exist).

Are you using a POP or IMAP Gmail account? Knowing that helps to interpret the error message.

We are having same problem again. Different one of our email account does not getting incoming emails. We try right click to get message,
response dialog box "Login to "thisaccount" failed.
Login to serve pop.gmail.com with username thisaccount.com failed.

See that use less secure apps is enabled in your google (NOT thunderbird gmail) account using a browser. If that doesn't help log into gmail webmail using a browser, log out and try again with Thunderbird That will verify your login credentials are still good and will clear a captcha if one was set. Thunderbird has no clue that captchas exist.

Google has a history of occasionally disabling use less secure apps behind your back. Its assumed that is because they are trying to push using OAuth2 for authentication.

All that repair folder does is rebuild the folder listing.

You can edit an existing password by going to tools -> preferences -> privacy & security -> saved passwords -> show passwords and then right clicking on the appropriate line and selecting "edit password" from the context menu.

Thank you. Got it. Actually, we right click the top right corner 3 bars then perference.
We only able to edit the saved password, but not changed the date it was updated. But why not able to remove save passwords, and then, re-enter new passwords.

Also, in Tools, Activity Manager, this may be good records of what all the staff have done. But this is only applied to each of their local computer?

The activity manager only records what happened for that profile (local computer). It also has a very short memory, it only displays whatever occurred after the last time Thunderbird started. So its probably useless for your purposes.

Sorry about the confusion about menus. Almost all help in this forum assumes you have the menu toolbar enabled and aren't relying upon the hamburger button (top right corner 3 bars).
