Can Thunderbird receieve and send multiple gmail accounts

We have a meeting for all the staff in this floor rely on Thunderbird email services.
One of the question is: in the Activity Manager, can we depend on this as record for each email account & password was access correct and working normally?
Previously, one email account password failed, there was no indication in the activity manager, that email account was NOT access correctly. How come?

The activity manager is not meant as a record of errors. Its a very high level summary of activity such as no messages to download or gmail is up to date.

The error console in tools -> developer tools is the place to look for warnings and errors. The biggest problem with it is many of the errors don't matter .

We have another question request your advice.
When printing a email message, we only want to print only the email message contents. We do not want to print the entire email header & routing info everytime.

Install the compact headers add-on from https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/th ... t-headers/ . That adds a menu option to hide all of the headers.

However, view -> headers -> normal only shows a few headers (subject, to/from etc.). Perhaps you have it set to All if you're seeing routing information such as Received: headers. It should default to Normal.

We are unable to open the download file.
We downloaded compact_headers-2.24-tb.xpi
When we tried to run "add-on and theme" Search the add-on in based your post, CompactHeader "This add-0n" is not compatible with your version of Thunderbird.

That link was to a version for 91.*. If you expand the versions section at the bottom of the page you get https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/th ... /versions/ which has a link for version 78.

https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/th ... er/?src=ss is a similar add-on for version 68.

What version of Thunderbird are you using? Please do not say latest as that is ambiguous.

We went to top right corner 3 horizontal bar manu, click "Add-on and Theme", open Add-on Manager. At top right, Find more add-on, enter "Compact Headers"
In the Add-ons search resulats, we found "Compact Headers". click "+ Add to Thunderbird"
Now all we have are compact header. This seems to be one way only, not reserverable and see detail headers. We guess, only way to see detail header is by click "View Source". But not sure.

I don't have the add-on installed but I guess that it hides the detail headers at all times. If that is the case and you wish to see the detail headers, open the add-ons tab in Thunderbird, find the add-on and disable it (the blue icon with the white slider towards the right). Then when you wish to revert to only showing the compact headers, re-enable the add-on.

view -> headers -> "show headers" will display the headers again. If you want to hide headers again select view -> headers -> "hide headers". Similar menu commands are available in the context menu if you right click on the message.

If the headers aren't hidden you can use Alt+D to toggle between compact (one line) and expanded headers.
