Test the next version of Thunderbird

Post by wsmwk »

We think you’re going to love this release and can’t wait for you to experience it! Our Beta channel has the features right now, and we encourage you to try them! Beta is in “feature freeze” for version 102, as we are focusing on polish and refinement.

“Feature freeze” means no new features will be added, so your Beta experience should be quite stable. But we need your help so that everything gets thoroughly tested under your unique “real world” conditions.

Thunderbird 102 will have several great new features, so there’s plenty of goodness to explore including:
  • New Address Book
  • New Import/Export Wizard
  • Matrix Chat Support
  • Message Header Redesign
  • New Icons and Default Folder Colors
  • Use Thunderbird without an email account (for example, as an RSS reader)
  • Numerous OpenPGP improvements
  • Calendar parser converted to javascript
  • Today Pane calendar UI refresh
  • POP3 implemented in javascript
  • Account settings moved to macOS application menu
  • PLUS: Application-wide font size control, Theme fixes, FileLink fixes, Accessibility fixes, improved vCard integration, improved calendar startup performance, Calendar fixes including correct order of week view headers and days for right to left locales.
