TB Save remote images

Lots of emails have remote images. When you save those emails the images do not get saved. Only the reference to the online image is saved. The excuse is "this savs the email in the exact way it was written" which is a pretty &$*"!cks excuse because what use is that for an email you have chosen to alow the images from. No use is the answer.

So without excuses as to why this doesn't work, is there anything planned to ammend the behaviour?

Jeez does no one else use this software for anything other than trivia? How can anyone be happy with the ridiculous default behaviour?

Please no stupid questions of 'why?', (the forum just seems to be going that way)

you might want to post in the tbird features or in the extensions/themes forums to ask about this. sounds like a useful thing for an extension.
