If I right click on a picture, I do get the option to Save Picture As. However, if I do the same on an audio file, there is no such option and I find myself viewing the page in IE to get this option which is Save Target As.
Is there some sort of add on which would let me do this in Thunderbird?

This is when I am trying to download a web music file, where it says to right click to download. In IE you can choose Save Target As, but in Thunderbird the only save option on web pages is Save Link As.
No such problem with web picture files, as the option Save Picture As is there in Thunderbird as well.

Wait, I'm confused. Music file embedded in an email? You're talking about Thunderbird, the email client, right? Not mixing it up with Firefox, the web browser tryign to download a file in there?
Maybe you'd better start over and give us a specific for instance.

hehe, like AGSHender said, I think you need to start over. =) IE is a browser, Thunderbird is an e-mail client. Are you referring to Firefox, Mozilla's standalone web browser?
Still, the "Save Link As" option is Firefox (which is what I'm guessing you're using) is the exact same thing as "Save Target As" in IE. They perfom the same functions, the wording is just different.
