Confirmed, printing from mail/news works again. :-)

JoeS wrote:[12 Feb 2009 19:00:12 comm-central]# 461098 [Thunderbird] - "Reply All" button missing when in message preview [All]

P.S.: For your list, I'd recommend to use the pushlog rather than the summary, to avoid that the time stamps are out of order (they represent the local time zone of whoever checked that in, whereas the pushlog indicates the server time).

Actually, I have been using the changelog
http://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/log/1945

But your point is well taken, even though the list order is real.

At least I know that someone is actually reading the list. :)

:-D Alternatively, you could add the respective +XXXX time zone information.
It was easier with the old CVS, check-ins were consistently stamped in PST...

By the way, Bug 469053 is two times in your list above. Deliberately?

Sometimes there are multiple checkins for the same bug. For example, I missed a change in my patch for #410597, thus a follow-up patch was needed, hence you should see two checkins in the pushlogs.

Some recent bugs regarding the Archive function and the Message Reader:

  • # 476590 Remove or change 'A' as shortcut accelerator key for Archive feature.

The 'A' shortcut appears to be too simple and easy to hit accidentally, on the other hand no shortcut at all probably won't fly here. Any suggestions for an alternate two-key shortcut?

On a side note, the archive function is the only direct button available in the header pane without having a corresponding button in the main toolbar (or in the palette), that's getting inconsistent...

  • # 478466 "You" in the message window header bar

I think there are two issues here, the "You" being ambiguous for multiple identities (anybody here running a Global Inbox to see if "You" is the only thing that shows up for all identities?). The other point is that it may be against local etiquette to simply address somebody as "You" (with different levels of politeness), so that may be a localization issue as well.
As always, comments appreciated. ;-)

Right, I derive that list from actual checkins. You will see that the time is different, hence a follow-up checkin.
I was considering including checkin comments in some way. Maybe that could be helpful.

Well, I guess Ben Bucksch must be using a Global inbox.
# 457304 [Thunderbird] - New message reader shows wrong email address [Lin]
Otherwise, why would he be concerned about which account it came from.
I never used a global inbox specifically for that reason, and also I like to segregate my mail according to the account.

Ah, I see - this would explain why my workaround with adding myself to the address book worked, let's see if it still does once #457304 is done. Apparently that's broken with or without the "You" then. BTW: You don't necessary need the Global Inbox, it's enough to have multiple identities mapped to one account, you'd still like to figure out which account or alias that message was actually sent to, right?

As for nicely separating your accounts, watch out for #446306 New Mailbox centric folder pane, which would reshuffle those folders and group them by function rather than account (not very supportive comments on that one though). Personally, my accounts and aliases have a very distinctive meaning, and the grouping by account with clear display of the identity involved is of rather high importance not to get mixed up in the process...

Using trunk l10n not update is retrieve with "check update" menu item. I use nightly update channel.

Ciao.

As of today’s builds we have now pointed the update url to our own Automatic Update Server (AUS) that will be used to check for nightly updates and manage partial update generation. So if you download today’s build (20090217) you’ll then be able to use automatic update as you can with the 3.x trees
