i've seen that before, but it's been quite a few builds back. bizarre.

Try deleting the XUL.mfl in your profile's salt folder and restarting.

I have already tried that numerous times, and it always reappears. I have also discovered other methods of making it temporarily disappear. btw, its slt, not salt.

I have seen something similar in firebird - when i try to add a toolbar button for a button that does not have an icon it does it. I was using Trivial (adds extra buttons) but becasue the theme dosent support it i get that. Might help. Try removing it with the customise toolbar
It would be nice if Thunderbird would tell me which one of my several accounts doesn't support secure authentication, instead of just referring to "server".

I'm still having the same problem with the Phoenity theme in Firebird. The Manage Bookmarks dialog has it.

I tried to download, bunzip2 and untar the 2003-06-03 Linux build to my Red hat 8.0 machine. Having prepended the binaries directory to my PATH I tried typing `thunderbird' and got this:
(thunderbird-bin:20651): Gdk-WARNING **: gdkdrawable-x11.c:787 drawable is not a pixmap or window
Not sure if this is a RedHat problem, or me not doing the right things, or a real problem with the 2006-06-03 build. BTW, the Win32 builds look real nice which is why I was tempted to try it on Linux too.

Hi,
does anyone know where to download a build that runs with Debian Woody? I still use the May 4 build, and kind of feel that i miss out on something...
