Than wat can it be?
I'm using WinXP, latest build...
When I maximize the window, the folder pane is horribly wide. If I make it smaller, close TB, open TB again, maximize the window, the folder pane is the same hrrible width again!

Did you try re-downloading and reinstalling? He did put up a new build yesterday (to replace original 06-17)

I don't have a clue what the problem was, but I reinstalled, tried a new profile, etc, nothing helped.
But just now, I tried again. At first it wouldn't even star anymore after I removed my profile.
I had to reinstall everything.
And now, everything works again! Imported my old profile, that is, my passwordfile, training.dat, my Mail & ImapMail folders.
As I did before. Only difference: this time I did not replace my prefs.js. Anything happened on that, since the previous build?

5) The windows build has a fix for the regression in the last build where we did not remember if you turned off the message pane across sessions.

First: Great Work! Its getting better and better and is already the best email-client out there....

The fix works only if you have checked the "standard" window-mode in options/advanced/windows it does not work with the large space for messages layout. If you want to unchecked the message pane the window layout is unimportant but you need to know that you have to change the window-mode. With the large space for messages layout there are also a few other viewing-related bugs.

I'm running Win98SE. I know I've got the latest version. I downloaded it about 6:00 last night, about 4 hours after the time listed at ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/nightly/2003-06-17-trunk. I'll try another new profile later.

Right. That's what I meant to type.

After letting TB create a new profile & setting up both of my accts I copied my user.js & the 2 folders with my mail & settings for both accts everything is working OK now. Any layout changes I've made have stayed.

The bug i mentioned before is still there if you use a completley new profile. I'm using Win XP and i dowloaded the file new 20 minutes ago. It works only in the standard mode....

How about an extension which underlines wrongly spelled words in the compose window, like MS WORD :)

That would be sweeet
