I think the agreement was for google search in Firefox.
Maybe TB could make a deal also.

then again how many people use a Search in a email client? i dont

Don't know how many, but I use it fairly often. So maybe every penny could count here.

OK, Changed default search engine in Daily, to Yahoo, from Bing, after the update today.

Need to find out how to add Startpage.

Startpage should still work using standard options general tab
(only shows in the messagepane (preview)
I like the WAT extension myself:

(But if someone from the community does, I'll be eager to review and ui-review the patches! :) )

I found some screenshots of Australis-Firefox on Mac and it really looks good. But its a bit hard to port Australis to TB if there isn't even a real Australis Bug for Firefox. I only found Bug 732093 and Bug 727650, which are Windows-only and I can't test Win stuff. There is also an Australis Add-On for FF which is (sadly) also Windows-only. Once there is an Australis Bug for OS X with a patch, I can try to port this to TB.

I'm having problems with drag and drop images into the compose window. The images shows up while composing but if sent or save as draft, the image does not appear in the message body. It shows up in the attachment pane as an unkown file type. Copy/paste seems to work okay from a web page but not from the harddrive.

I haven't done drag and drop for quite some time, so I don't know if this is some sort of security behaviour now or bug.

D&D might depend on the source.I know if there is a re-direct involved,there are problems.
I just dragged the forums title gif into a composition and it worked OK
Code: Select all
Content-Type: image/gif;
 name="title2.gif"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-ID: <part1.08060904.07070002@bellatlantic.net>
Content-Disposition: inline;
 filename="title2.gif"

Edit: Hmm actually dragged the whole div, might make a nice html sig.
Code: Select all
<div id="masthead">
      <h1><a href="http://forums.mozillazine.org/"><img
            src="cid:part1.08060904.07070002@bellatlantic.net"
            alt="MozillaZine" height="70" width="180"></a></h1>
      <span id="sprite"></span> </div>

I tried the forums title gif and it did not work for me. It shows fine in the message window while composing but when it's sent or saved as a draft it no longer shows up in the message body. It shows up in the attachment pane as an unknown attachment. Drag and drop from the harddrive does the same thing.

Content-Type: application/x-moz-file;
name="jdjedfbj."
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-ID: <part1.02080207.02020008@comcast.net>
Content-Disposition: inline;

Using todays Daily...
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120302 Thunderbird/13.0a1

OK, I can reproduce D&D from HD fails with incorrect content-type
Code: Select all
Content-Type: application/x-moz-file;
 name="aecfddag."
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-ID: <part1.09090007.02030306@bellatlantic.net>
Content-Disposition: inline;
 filename="aecfddag."

I guess it worked from the web page because I had additional html elements selected.
