Not working here...

That's weird. I can get it from that link, but it's not pulling it from the cache or anything.

Are you using the browser or an FTP client? I've tried both and had success with both, but maybe there's a configuration error somewhere. I dunno, I'm grasping at straws. :)

browsing to ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub lists only mozilla.org/ as a subdirectory
using an FTP client gives a much larger list, but still no mozilla/ (not even mozilla.org/)
but telling the FTP client explicitly to go to /pub/mozilla/pub/thunderbird/nightly/2003-10-08-1.5/ lists the file correctly

but it still gives error 550 when trying to open the link you gave in a browser.

Oh yay. The FTP client lists the file correctly, but when trying to open a transfer for it, it gives me an error 550 (just like in the browser)

3rd attempt, the file finally starts downloading. In the mean time, I disconnected from the server and tried to reconnect and it gave me a server limit reached message once. Could this be a problem of the server being overloaded? Speaking of which... is this on the new server, or the old one that was supposed to be replaced?

In the browser when I go directly to ftp://ftp.mozilla.org, I can see all the directories as I browse through, but in my FTP client they're all redirects to different folders. The path in my client actually turns out to be "/.1/mozilla/pub/thunderbird/nightly/" and not the direct path. What browser are you using? Maybe there's something there. I assumed you're using Firebird or Mozilla, but I really don't know.

I'm using Firebird 0.7-based build from 20031007

all I can see is /pub/ when I browse to ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/
I tried browsing to ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/.1/ but it gave me another 550 error.

mscott's link isn't right. Check the ones down below.

May want to edit your post for the people just looking to download and not read, mscott.

The link I listed in my post works for me. The link you listed does not. I get a 505 error.

Yeah, the http is the only one that's not giving me a 505 error, but it takes at least 2 minutes to load and then 2 minutes to start downloading. It seems to download just fine, though. Odd. Be patient, I guess.
