As a release manager,

Thank you. I was not trying to be pushy but it appears that I was.

A few more questions please?

The TBird 68 beta series has a unique dark theme. Will the release TBird 68.0 have that theme? I f not as default as a selection? If not a selection as a setting(s)?

Not at all. I was simply clarifying the text you had quoted, which was not your misinterpretation.

I am running 69 beta, and in add-ons > themes it has a default dark and light theme. I'm pretty sure 68 does also, but without more specifics only you can determine whether that is the "unique" theme you mention.

Firefox in-built spellcheck for English en-US not working properly - single quote marks
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1565919

Would anyone know if this fix for Firefox also fixes the same/similar problem in Thunderbird 68.0?

Looking at the tracking flags it is fixed for Firefox 70. Firefox 68 ESR and 69 beta are affected, but not fixed at this time. So I would say it isn't fixed for Thunderbird 68.0.

You could click "Follow" and see when/if it gets fixed for 68.0.

Noticing no 64 bit downloads yet.

However, I do see a 64 bit version of 60.8.0 at https://www.m64. info/index.php/thunderbird-64-bit-download

You don't have to go to that site. https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunder ... 8.0/win64/

TB 68.0 hasn't been built at this time.

I take it you mean 64-bit or Win64 for Windows and not 64-bit for Linux and Mac OSX which has been around for a long time now.

Win64 builds are not official yet for starters otherwise it would be listed on https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/ for the current 60.8.0

There are Win64 builds of 60.8.0 as you can see here https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunder ... 8.0/win64/ which has been posted to you a few times earlier now but ignored. The place you went to is a random Unofficial site.

Those bugs do not say Win64 builds are official yet. "Patience grasshopper" as one commented.

Also if you are Worcester12345 on Bugzilla then Please read https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html before making additional comments in those bugs.

I have been looking at the current 68.x betas and 69.x betas as well as the builds of 68.0 candidates and I don't like the color schemes of them. The 'folder window panel' and the 'Message subject panel' are black backgrounds with white text. Would anyone know if that is hard coded in or can it be changed? Easily?

Do you have the Dark theme enabled in the Add-ons Manager?

Add-ons > Themes. There should be a Default, Dark and Light theme.

I have the theme of Thunderbird 60.8 set to the "Default" theme and always have.

But you have the dark Windows theme enabled? Try to use the light TB theme.

I do not have the Windows Dark Theme enabled. However.

With the Thunderbird "Light" theme enabled Thunderbird again looks like the old "Default" theme did.

Thanks everyone.
