Maybe they should make a big comeback with Thunderbird 64-64. Version 64, 64 bit. It would be nice to have that out soon. It seems most all other programs are now out in 64 bit.

So that there is no disappointment or further speculation, I can tell you it's not going to happen any time soon because there are still higher priority items being focused on, and there is no progress on the bugs which have blocked the decision to ship it. Best guess (which is not a prediction) would be early 2019.

I don't either. However there is a Beta "60.0b11" out that is dated "03-Sep-2018" which is newer than the "latest Release 60.0" which is dated "06-Aug-2018"?? Maybe we need new "Tin Foil Hats"?

yeah 60.0 Beta11 will just be 60.1.0 or 60.2.0 or 60.3.0

Now that 60.2.1 is Out what will be the next Beta? 63 or 64 ? prolly makes more sense to wait for 64

I seem to have a problem with the latest build (64.0a1 (2018-10-12) (64-bit) Windows version), I think it started about a week ago. Each time it refreshes after downloading remote images for a message the Thunderbiird window gets wider. Has anyone seen this ?
Thanks.

This is because of bug 1497837. As a workaround you can add this to userCrome.css: # - Code: Select all
statusbar-progresspanel > progressmeter { max-width: 128px; }

On the very first page of this thread there is a reference to a "Thunderbird 63.0beta" and a link to download it.
Would anyone know if "the powers that be" have informed the extension developers, as they did with TBird 60.0, of the coming release and the need to update their extension(s)?
