Is there a file somewhere that tracks the date, time and version when you update Thunderbird?

Try the update.xml file in the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Thunderbird\updates\* folder.

Is Thunderbird installed on your system's C: drive?

Yes C drive. Turned on Show Hidden files. Sorry nothing there from both post above.

Try the update.xml file in the %ProgramData%\Mozilla\updates\* folder.

Command Prompt:

cd /d %ProgramData%\Mozilla\updates
findstr /s /m "name=\"Firefox" updates.xml
findstr /s /m "name=\"Thunderbird" updates.xml

Move the update directory to a common installation specific location

OR.... How about.... in Thunderbird itself...

Options/Advanced/Update/ Show update history. Just had to look harder...
