Post by jl123 »

Just installed TB 95.0 b1 and it is now showing up with a new address book format.

The address field is showing to many commas.

The format for Other information Birth Date is not aligned correctly. see images

Note: I know it is a work in progress but I thought I would post what I see now.

Notes field is showing in New and Edit but not when click on a Name.

It is new in the way all Contacts are list on the left side and the Contacts info is on the right side.
Similar to what you would see if you also use Outlook Live.

The release candidate tester(s) haven't finished testing it yet, so you must be using a release candidate version.

Please file bug reports, and thanks for testing.

How will the developers know bugs are fixed if beta users don't want to use the new address book?

well then why did they put that in the Release Notes? not everyones gonna like this new address book, also, the old addressbook works, the new one doesnt, thats why people will disable the new addressbook, you can do the same in firefox, disable things in ( about:config ) . you can do the same in Chrome/Chromium also
