Wow. This is all crap if the basic product is not functional. So many users, myself included, are having MAJOR ISSUES with Thunderbird. Things like slowness, crashes, and HUGE consumption of RAM and disk space!!!!!

WHERE THE HECK is the FOCUS ON PRIORITIES?

It would also be helpful, since you are posting in the Builds forum, if you mentioned what version you are griping about.

Definitely not seeing anything of the sort in the release version. Have you tried Safe Mode?

Have some Crash IDs you can share?

I haven't encountered huge consumption of RAM and disk space using the release, beta and daily versions of Thunderbird on Windows 10 or Fedora 35 Linux.

There are days when the versions are slow on Windows, but other days they are not slow.

My largest folder has 39,146 messages in it, but it is an IMAP account and I don't have that folder synchronized for offline use.

If Thunderbird is so appalling then surely the thing to do is to use another e-mail client and bin Thunderbird.

Criticism is fine but I'm going to lock this thread as its turning into a rant. If you want help with a release or nightly build I suggest you create another thread where you provide useful information that somebody can use to try to help you, rather than linking to lots of old bug reports .
