Remote content

Post by BruceAWittmeier »

The Allow remote content in messages ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Exceptions:
does not appear to work correctly. I have multiple emails from walmart.com and vcdl.org where I want to show remote content. I have the box unchecked but added and allowed both sites -- no luck.
Any help?
I often take a long windy road to my destination. Upon arrival, I wonder how I missed the shortcut.

Version 104.0b2
I think what I am seeing is if I add a server by typing into the "Address of website" it does NOT always work -- it doesn't work by adding the server name from the email address sender.
If I use the yellow "Block content" from the actual email and select an option from the Options dropdown it works. However, these server names do not appear in the email address.
I was just looking to enter a couple I want to see the content and it did not work. Now I know the work-around.

Do these two options make the same entry to the table:
- Show remote content in this message
- Allow remote content from all ## origins above.
