Toggle Between Bookmarks and Browser

Post by baumgrenze »

Am I missing that there is a simple way to open a subtopic in my Bookmarks and systematically prune it by opening one in SM, seeing if it works and if it is still useful, deleting it and then coming back to pick the next one down?

I have a long list of 'computer related' bookmarks and I'm finding that many are 404's. Each time I find one I have to navigate down through my bookmarks to find the useless one and delete it.

thanks

Why not opening your bookmarks in the sidebar (F9) and use the search field on top to browse your entries

Hardy

Thank you for pointing me to a feature I'd not yet found. This is just what I want. I can open the properties and copy the link to notepad, then Duck search for what is currently known. It is a pity there is not a 'date created' field in the properties, but I guess it would cause the Bookmarks file to balloon.

There's so much to learn and so little time.
Thanks,
