Is it possible to have a 2nd Bookmarks Toolbar underneath the 1st one? If so, how does one do it?
![]()
Not by default. The Bookmarks Toolbar isn't really, er, the bookmarks toolbar at all, it's just the toolbar where the Bookmark Toolbar Items live by default, but that can be dragged to any toolbar, if needed. Trouble is, those BT Items will not just overspill onto another toolbar. You mission, should you choose to accept it, will involve searching for an extension to do what you want. I doubt there is one working left which survived the bookmarkocalypse. Mozilla rewrote the boolmarks api for async operation and this wasn't even very stable till around 58. All critical fixes beyond 56 are in and don't make it any better if a 56 add-on survived. The remains of the old sync api are still in but I plan to remove them. Untested and block further backporting. So you mission would be to start from scratch or fix up a possible old add-on ![]() Why not put bookmark folders on the bookmarks toolbar? Then you probably would not need more than one toolbar.
