Middle click??
Neither my mouse not my lappies keypad has a middle click, and just clicking somewhere in the middle of an open atbs tab does nothing in WinXP Pro either.
Right mouse click opens the commands to select Close tab, and that's about it.

Neither my mouse...

Does your mouse not have a scroll wheel? Pressing on the mouse wheel is "middle-clicking" with most mice.

Not natively, AFAIK.

Do all mice have scroll wheels? Do all mice have three button?

It's hard to find mouse without wheel for last 5, or ever 10 years, except cheapest 1$ for 10 pcs or some bells and whistles design models.
PS: got one three buttons com mouse from 1995, still working 8-)
