open in new tab, never window?

Post by Gavin »

Is there a way to force mozilla to only open links in a new tab, rather than a new window? ie. when a link is setup to open in new frame (_BLANK).

Including external apps that open a URL.

You can get this (and many more features for tabs) by installing the Tabbrowser Extensions.

This future was once integrated in Mozilla

The Ability to open BrowserWindows in tabs instead of new windows was once installed in mozilla. Unfortunately they removed it. I wonder why?... The Tabbrowser Extensions are a great thing; although I only need the one feature above.
