Bi-Di Support in mail client

When I write mail in hebrew with Mozilla (1.1, windows 2000) I cannot configure the RTL and LTR of the page. I can still choose the alignment button but it will align only characters and not symbols.

Any ideas?

It has been talked in the past at mozilla.org.il, and there is no enough progress so far.

Take a look on those bugs: 119857 and 96057. The first has a addon with workaround, while the second holds progress.

Better to use some text editors such as notepad (windows), which support LTR/RTL text directions. IMHO, anyway.
