Vineeth, you could monitor either http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... andidates/ or http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... /releases/ for upcoming releases, if there is some automated way to take care of it. SeaMonkey provides both executable installers and ZIP versions for Windows.

Thanks! I am sure it doesn't happen if the file is digitally signed. Let me check with the team to see if there is any way we could automatically do it.

There is a bug for that, but ...

It looks like one advantage of SeaMonkey taking a few days to validate and build a new release after a Firefox update is that sometimes SM can avoid some of the seemingly inevitable breakage FF has with their accelerated ("We need to be more like Chrome.") release schedule. This time around maybe even miss 2 broken updates.

Firefox 36.0.4 is not a fix for a "broken update", it's a fix for a security flaw discovered in the Pwn2Own contest. (All major browsers were taken down this time).

The findbar is still there for me on another tab if I open it on a different one.
