Permissions

Post by WaltP »

Looking in the data manager, I see a lot of Permission entries labeled
moz_nullprincipal;{bunchaHexDigits} TLS False Start using RSA

What are these? There's about 75 of them. Can they be deleted without problems?

97% of the rest of the list are websites I have never heard of and never visited. Also erasable? What happens if they are marked [b]blocked[b]. How do I mark most/all blocked. I really don't want to hand-mark 150 entries individually.

Thanks,
Walt

Thanks.
What I take from that is
1) they are an experiment by moz that failed
2) they collect the data anyway
3) if you delete them, it will affect access speed
4) there's no easy way to delete them

But still, why are most of the entries sites I've never visited? Are they mostly advertising sites?

There are sites that your browser (SeaMonkey) was connected to. If you'll visit e.g. http://edition.cnn.com/ then CNN site will use other servers/services to display its content.

If you have AdBlock Plus you can check (Ctrl+Shift+V) what third party sites you're connecting to.
