Hi - Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but I haven't been able to find a real Changelist for either release - I may be in the minority, but I'd like some understanding of what's different before i upgrade -
thanks!

On web videos, this version broke "ask to activate" for me. Tried StopTube and it didn't work. Haven't found a workaround yet. I would not call this a fix or an improvement.

I haven't seen that at all. Could be an XP-specific problem. Create a separate thread and perhaps we can figure out what's going on.Shuttlebug wrote:On web videos, this version broke "ask to activate" for me. Tried StopTube and it didn't work. Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

Check the SeaMonkey Blog... they've been listing some new features there:
https://blog.seamonkey-project.org/2015 ... ase-notes/
In addition, we have threads here in SeaMonkey General for each release where bugs/regressions/improvements are discussed. It does sometimes take us awhile to find the details:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2972567
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2964365
Also, if you have a Bugzilla account and the patience to read through the bugs and the ability to understand what they say, you CAN look at the changes made in each version as I did here:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2960675
The Bugzilla Query link for 2.39 is here:

So I guess the short answer is, until somebody with a lot of patience and time and understanding decides they want to tackle doing this, what you want does not exist.

Re: 2.38, 2.39 changes/fixes/improvements?
We use SeaMonkey for our web editor on PC and Apple Mac. Version 2.38 is great but since we upgraded to version 2.39 the publishing of changes doesn't work. This is now a recognised bug and the proposed workaround until fix is released is to stay with or reload version 2.38.
