Website URLs?

Are you using Private Browsing?
Are you clearing cookies (which may or may not apply), either from within the browser, or externally, like with ccleaner?

Same Problem here.

New Usernames / Passwords are not stored, existing logins are not automaticly filled in altough they are still visible in the Password Manager.

Safe Mode / New Profile didn't help.

Maybe it's related to these two known bugs?

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1228737

Rolled back to 2.35 for now... :/

Known bug. More info needed, especially of you're using non-English version of Seamonkey. If yes, install EN version and then add a language pack.

If you use a non en-us version check if a dictionary is installed.

If not then it might be bug 1208971:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208971

workaround:

Add an empty sting preference in about:config for the name "spellchecker.dictionary"

Your stored passwords should then work afterwards like by magic again.

Firefox 42 changed how preferences are stored in the profile. The migration routines might not have worked in every case and this might have affected passwords too. I would also try it with a fresh profile.

Installing the en-US Version and then adding the language pack did indeed work.

Thanks for your help!

I'm really curious what causes the issue. My laptop and my office PC at work both updated fine without any password related Problems (all Win7 x64 and basicly the same AddOns as my machine at home).
