Was automatically offered the update to SM 2.40 today.
As usual, after the update installed I was told my version of Lightning was not valid. HOWEVER, clicking on the check for update button actually resulted in Lightning 4.5b1 being found and automatically installed. Is this something new, or just that Ewong's "challenges" with the build meant that the delay allowed the next version of Lightning to reach official beta status first?
SeaMonkey 2.40 has been released!!!

Actually, I've seen Lightning automatically update itself with the "correct" beta in earlier versions already, but can't tell how recently that was introduced (thus, not related to the switch of update servers).

2.39/Linux had no issues finding the 2.40 via Help/Check for updates, but after downloading the partial update, it complained that something's corrupt and offered the full download which worked nicely.
