Why are there no download buttons on some web pages when viewed with SeaMonkey, whereas with Safari, they show up?
I have seen that several times lately, especially with pages for Mac software.

Maybe because you are using an unofficial build from AdrianK?

Adrian does not provide macOS builds. Likely a tinderbox build.

I am using a Tinderbox build. Since the directory it came from is named "comm-release-macosx64", I presumed it must be ready for prime time.WaltS48 wrote:Maybe because you are using an unofficial build from AdrianK?

Here is one example: http://www.jihosoft.com/recovery/iphone ... y-mac.html
With Safari, there is a download button and a buy button, but in SeaMonkey, they actually are there, but almost invisible. Maybe that was the problem with the other sites: the buttons were invisible?

I see them perfectly fine here in Windows.Anonymosity wrote:Here is one example: http://www.jihosoft.com/recovery/iphone ... y-mac.html

Just tried SeaMonkey and both buttons showed, the download and buy buttons. Using 2.40.

Same here. 2.47 Beta x64 under Windows. Trial and Buy show and work fine.
