SeaMonkey Safety & Security

Post by Mr.Mark »

I'm new to SeaMonkey and was wondering if all is safe and secure with this browser? My Mac is running OS 10.8.5 and Safari,Firefox and Maxthon are no longer supported. SeaMonkey is my best option. Is there anything I should be concerned about?

SeaMonkey no longer supports that Mac OS version either. Your best bet for up-to-date security is Firefox 45 ESR.

If you're somewhat techie, you could try SeaMonkey 2.40 + NoScript.

Gecko 49.0 and later which is what Firefox 49.0 and SeaMonkey 2.46 uses requires Mac OSX 10.9 and later.
